Girl Time

I enjoyed some much-needed girl time with 2 lovely friends today. It's amazing how much motherhood consumes us. We most likely would have jabbered on all afternoon, if the littlest ones weren't tuckered out and craving their afternoon naps. Relationships require deliberate choices these days. Everyone is occupied with so many things and we feel obligated to maintain this frantic pace day in and day out. I have to deliberately choose to connect with other women. It should be a no-brainer, yet I struggle to make the right choice quite frequently. I don't get it. So thanks, girls. It was fun to hang out and compare notes on our little cherubs.
