Yum!

Andy is dabbling in the world of pureed food this month. He has really taken a liking to sweet potatoes, giggling all the way through lunch today. We took the high chair out of storage yesterday and he seems quite content on his new throne. He is 6 months old this week. Wow!

Saturday at the Zoo

We were invited to spend a recent Saturday at the zoo, celebrating a 4 year old friend's birthday. The weather was a little damp, but Luke didn't seem to mind. This was only his third trip to the zoo and he really enjoyed it. Here we are admiring the penguins. Although we were all a little chilly, it was definitely nice to see the animals up close without jockeying for a space at the window or railing. I was especially proud of Luke for going through the nocturnal house (a very dark exhibit, of course) and he wasn't scared at all. We did get rather close to a porcupine and Luke said, "Yikes! He's scary!" Andy was not a happy camper so we came home after the birthday party, but we are looking forward to many more adventures at the zoo.
